Welcome to the official website of professional Scottish racing driver, David Wagner.

David’s ambition is to become Formula 1 World Champion and in 2012, he finished fourth in the Protyre Formula Renault BARC Championship, taking a win, four podiums and two pole positions.

David is a multiple British and Scottish Kart Champion. In 2010, he graduated to single seaters, competing in the Formula Renault BARC Winter Series. Without previous experience in a racing car, David scored four podiums out of six races and took victory in the final race, finishing second overall and top rookie.

He is one of the most exciting racing prospects Scotland has had for many years and has been selected by the UK governing body of motor sport, The Motor Sports Association (MSA) for their Academy. David is an ambassador for the Winning Scotland Foundation and a proud supporter of The Full Circle Foundation, a charity committed to helping disabled teenagers live a fuller life.

In 2012, he was retained for the University of Strathclyde’s Elite Athletes programme, where he studies Finance and Marketing.
